What Youβll Build
A dice tower β drop dice in the top, they tumble down internal ramps, and roll out the bottom perfectly randomized. Decorate it to match your favorite game.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Cut the Tower Walls
Cut four rectangular panels for the tower walls. Standard size: 4 inches wide by 10 inches tall.
Step 2: Cut Internal Ramps
Cut 3 ramp pieces slightly narrower than the tower interior. These will alternate left and right inside the tower.
Step 3: Attach the Ramps
Glue ramps at alternating angles inside two of the wall panels. Angle them about 30β45 degrees. Leave enough gap for dice to pass.
Step 4: Assemble the Tower
Glue all four walls together into a rectangular tube. The ramps should create a zigzag path inside.
Step 5: Add the Tray
Build a small tray at the base with a felt-lined bottom. The tray catches dice as they exit. Add a front lip so dice donβt roll off the table.
Step 6: Decorate
Paint, add stickers, or design a theme. Castle towers, dragon lairs, space stations β whatever fits your game night.
Make It Easier
- Use a cardboard box as the outer shell and just add internal ramps
- Skip painting β use colored duct tape

- Add a second dice chute for rolling two colors separately
